Managing Students

The ‘Students’ button in the left menu navigates to the page that allows management of students. On this page, you can Add, Edit or Delete Students. Students can also be added through the Bulk Import CSV feature which is demonstrated below.

Add student through the Create Student page:

  • Go to the Students screen from the left menu and click ‘Create’ in the top right corner.
  • You will be taken to a page with a form to fill in student details and assign them groups.
Note: These groups need to be created beforehand. Also, a student must belong to at least 1 group.
  • After filling up Details, click on ‘Create’ button on the top right.
  • You can now edit or view Student details from the list in the Students screen.
  • You can search the list of available students by Name, Guardian Name, Admission No. Or Phone Number so you don’t have to scroll through the entire list.

Bulk import Students through Import CSV option

This option is accessible through the ‘Edit Group’ page and automatically assigns the bulk imported students to the said group.
To import students:
  • Go to the Groups screen from the left menu and click on any Group which has already been created.
  • This will take you to the Edit Group page which allows you to bulk import Students. Click on the ‘Sample CSV’ button on the top right to download the sample format (template CSV) in which the students data needs to be uploaded.
  • Just Drag n’ Drop files to the upload CSV file panel or click on it to select the file you wish to upload.
  • The imported Students will be automatically associated with the Group from which you launched the import CSV option but you can manually add or remove these students from the same screen.
